This course is for individuals who operate a self propelled mobile elevated work platform (MEWP)  as part of their work. Upon a successful completion candidates will recieve a Level 2 award in the safe operation of MEWP's.

Course Description

This is a 3 day training course, 2 days of training with 1 day of assessments on a dedicated time. Candidates will learn the following:

1. Understand and know how to prepare and operate a self-propelled mobile elevated work platform safely and to industry standards in line with current legislation.
2. Have clear understanding of health, safety and risk in relation to a mobile eleveated work platform.
3. Know how to do pre-use checks and operation before using a MEWP.
4. Understand and know how to travel and manoeuvre the machine.
5. Understand relevant regulations

PPE Requirements:

You must bring the following PPE to be accepted on to the course on the day of training; A hard hat, safety boots with steel toe caps for foot protection, high visability clothing and harness. Failure to bring this PPE on the day may result in your training being postponed with no refund.
