This is an intensive Tree Surgery course focusing on the basic theory components and practical (legislative) requirements to becoming a qualified tree surgeon.

Student assessment only on C&G NPTC Access a Tree Using a Rope & Harness and Aerial Tree Rescue (CS38)

This is a 3 day course that will allow candidates to gain a Level 3 certificate in the use of a chainsaw from a Mobile Elevated Workplatform. 

City and Guilds Level 2 Certificate of Competence in Climbing and Aerial Rescue

This course covers the basic chainsaw maintenance and cross-cutting units required by those working in Forestry, Tree Surgery or Arboriculture

City and Guilds Level 2 Certificate in Competence in Chainsaw Maintance and Cross Cutting along with the Level 2 Certificate of Competence in Felling Trees up to 380mm (CS30&CS31).

City & Guilds NPTC Level 3 Award in Aerial Cutting of Trees with a Chainsaw Using Free-Fall Techniques (CS39)

This course is for individuals who operate a self propelled mobile elevated work platform (MEWP)  as part of their work. Upon a successful completion candidates will recieve a Level 2 award in the safe operation of MEWP's.

This course is suitable for those who have already achieved their CS30 & CS31 units (C&G NPTC chainsaw maintenance, cross-cut & fell trees up to 380mm) but need to refresh these qualifications.

The basic tree inspection course will be of interest to contractors, highway engineers, tree wardens, grounds maintenance staff, rangers and other persons of a non-arboricultural background.
