This qualification is aimed at anyone who is looking to start a career within the conservation and sustainability sector, or will be especially useful for those who have been given the responsbility for sustainability within thier orgnaisations. 

The qualification will benefit those who are progressing into the sustainability officer/co-ordinator advisor roles and will focus on 4 main industries which are:

  2. Enivronment
  3. Climate Change

Course Description

This qualification is for learners to develop knowledge and understanding of the terms enivronment, sustainability, climate change and net zero as they relate to a green future. Learners will explore the definitions, categories, components and human and non-human impacts of the enivronment.

You will also have the chance to explore the following areas;

  1. Definitions around sustainability
  2. Pillars, actors and green technologies relating to sustainability
  3. Topis of greenhouse gases, sources and targets with thier effects on climate change.
  4. Explore the carbon context, carbon footprint as well as national and international policy on net zero.

Assessment Methods:

As part of this assessment you will have assignments that are externally set but internally marked. This qualification is a pass/fail grading system. 

Entry Requirements:

Candidates must first achieve 4 GCSE'S at grade 3 or above.

Information of program:

This is a blended learning course which will take 12 weeks to complete. There will be requirement for some face to face learning. Once you have enrolled on your course, the course manager will reach out to you so your sessions can be arranged. It is a roll on roll off program,
