The qualification has been specifically designed to meet the diverse needs of those who use the Indsutrial Telescopic Forklift Truck in a variety of work roles, including agriculture & horticulture. Please note that this qualification may not be accepted in the Construction Industry.

Course Description

Course Contents:

Candidates will know how to prepare the fork lift truck for driving or manoeuvring including the following:

1. Know how to prepare the fork lift truck for driving or manoeuvring
2. Be able to prepare the fork lift truck for lift truck and driving or manoeurvring

Candidates will know how to operate, move or manoeuvre the fork lift truck include the following:

1. Know how to select, transfer and position loads using a fork lift truck

Candidate will know how to undertake operational checks on a fork lift truck including:

1. Know how to understake post operational checks for a fork lift truck.

Entry Requirements

The minimum age limit for Candidates taking Certificates of Competence is 16 years. There is no upper age limit. Candidates will need some previous driving experience.
