Course Description

A roll on roll off blended learning course where you will have the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills to enable you to be a fully qualified gym instructor.

You will learn the basic fundamentals of the gym instructing and develop the skills to confidently and effectively work with clients conducting gym inductions and planning training programmes.

There is a mixture of theory and practical assessment included within the course. Each assessment will include tailored feedback to ensure that you will be as effective as possible in the industry once qualified. 

Course requirements:

• Some experience of gym-based exercises, including free weights, is highly recommended
• The course requires physical exertion and individual participation is essential; therefore, a degree of physical fitness is necessary
• There is also an element of communication (discussing, presenting, reading and writing) involved and learners should have basic skills in communication pitched at level 2.
