BRAND NEW FOR 2023
Mini Encounters allow you to experience your favourite animal within their reserve, listen to your informative Education Conservation keeper as they teach you all of the fun and interesting facts about your chosen individual species!
These Mini Encounters are pre-bookable and if available, may also be booked on the day.

- Age: The minimum age for this is 7
- Participants: includes up to 2 Participants* all children aged 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult
- Cost: £20 per booking
- Time: Armadillo Mini Encounter is at 11AM
- Place: Please meet your Education Conservation keeper at the Wildlife Park reception 5 minutes before your encounter time for your health and safety briefing
*Entry to the Wildlife Park is not included and must be purchased seperatley upon entry

Terms & Conditions
By purchasing this experience, you agree that the participant will abide by the following conditions:
Participants must be aged 7 or over.
Participants aged 15 and under must be accompanied by a supervising adult (included free of charge in the encounter, entry to the park will be paid as normal).
Participants must have current tetanus immunisation.
Participants must wear suitable clothing: full length trousers, shoes which fully cover the feet (not sandals/flip flops), no jewellery (or piercings covered).
Long hair must be tied back.
Participants must follow the staff instructions at all times during the experience.
Please note that people whose immune system is compromised (e.g. pregnant women, people with immunocompromising illnesses) may not be able to handle any animals, and their activities may be very limited.
If you have any particular health and safety or accessibility needs please ensure that we are aware of these before the day.
Participants must wash their hands after touching animals, and should wash their hands before eating, drinking or touching their faces. Anti-bacterial hand wash is not sufficient – soap and running water is the only safe way of washing hands.
Askham Bryan Wildlife and Conservation Park will not accept responsibility for any person disregarding health and safety guidelines or neglecting to follow safe working practices instruction by its trained keeping staff whilst in the boundaries
